Cased 4-Barrel Pepperbox Revolver by C.Piper of Cambridge
A lovely and rare 110 bore 4-barrel pepperbox revolver by C.Piper of Cambridge. Charles Piper is recorded in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire between1849 and 1855. This is a fine pistol retaining virtually all of its original finish. Cased in blue baize with all its accessories including a very unusual ball mould marked “WD” on one side for William Davis who was one of the best 19th Century mould makers, turn screw, nipple key (slight damage) and a superb unnamed 3-way flask. A rare set in excellent condition.
